Task and Activities:
1. Develop
Production Plans: Create detailed production plans and schedules to meet
customer orders and company goals.
2. Coordinate
Schedules: Align production schedules with procurement, engineering, and
project management to ensure timely delivery.

Adjust Plans: Modify production schedules in response
to changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or unforeseen issues.

Lead Production Team: Supervise and manage
production staff, including assembly workers, technicians, and quality control
personnel.

Train Staff: Provide training and development
opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to EOT crane and Hoist
production.
• Conduct Performance Reviews: Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and address any performance issues or disciplinary actions.

Analyse Production Processes: Assess and improve
production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate waste.

Implement Improvements: Apply lean manufacturing
techniques, such as 5S and Kaizen, to streamline workflows and increase
productivity.

Monitor KPIs: Track key performance indicators
(KPIs) such as cycle time, throughput, and utilization rates to identify areas
for improvement.
•
Develop Quality Standards: Establish and enforce
quality control standards and procedures for crane manufacturing.
•
Oversee Inspections: Supervise the inspection
and testing of cranes at various stages of production to ensure compliance with
quality specifications.
•
Address Defects: Investigate and resolve any
quality issues or defects, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
•
Enforce Safety Protocols: Ensure that all safety
procedures are followed and maintain a safe working environment in compliance
with OSHA and other regulations.
•
Conduct Safety Training: Provide regular safety
training and conduct safety drills to minimize risks and promote a safety-first
culture.
•
Manage Compliance: Ensure compliance with
industry standards, environmental regulations, and internal policies.
•
Oversee Inventory: Manage inventory levels for
raw materials, components, and finished goods to prevent shortages or excess.
•
Coordinate Procurement: Work with procurement
and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
needed for production.
•
Maintain Equipment: Oversee the maintenance and
repair of production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize
downtime.
•
Collaborate with Engineering: Work closely with
the engineering team to address design issues, implement modifications, and
support new product development.

Coordinate with Supply Chain: Liaise with supply
chain and logistics departments to ensure smooth flow of materials and timely
delivery of products.
• Support Project Management: Assist project managers in coordinating production activities with project timelines and customer requirements.
Requirements:
•
A bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical
Engineering
•
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a
production management role within the heavy machinery or crane manufacturing
industry.
•
Proven track record in overseeing and managing
production operations, including experience with EOT cranes or similar
equipment.
•
Ability to plan, execute, and oversee production
projects, ensuring timely and cost effective completion.
