Design Engineer - Jr/Sr.

 Chennai, Tamil Nadu     10-12 Yrs    ₹10 - ₹14 Yearly

• Motivating and Monitoring the design teams and ensure the designs were done as per the plan and within target.
• Ensuring structural drawings and designs are produced with a high precision, and are easy to decipher
• To Oversee the entire design process using technical expertise and software.
• To Closely Work with clients and ensure that their expectations are met
• To produce designs that could reduce financial risk during construction & Execution of the plans.
• To be very conversant with all the documentation process while doing the design process
• To have hands on experience and be abreast up to date knowledge related to construction and its legislation.
• To have handled large projects and met the specified goals successfully.
• Able to prepare structural overviews for ongoing and upcoming projects, and develop reports as well as cost estimates to management
• Hands-on proficiency in application of latest versions of Staad, Tekla and Auto cad soft wares including design and detailing of connections.
• Technical and commercial optimization of design and detailing.
• Update knowledge of latest revisions of IS 800, NBC and AISC codes.
• Pretender and post- order technical discussions with clients and consultants to exploit our strengths.

• To Oversee the entire design process using technical expertise and software.
• To produce designs that could reduce financial risk during construction & Execution of the plans.
• Familiar with Autocad / Staad Pro and other relevant design softwares

• Minimum 8 - 10 years of managerial experience in the relevant field.
• Knowledge (Technical / Functional)
• Knowledge in troubleshooting

• Problem Solving skills
• Ability to respond and resolve to various queries on Designs and its related issues
• Good communication skills

• BE (Civil) / B.Tech
• Master Degree in Structural Design will be an added advantage.
