Job description
1) Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the
organisation's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and
retention & develops corporate plans for a variety of HR matters.
2) Identifies staffing and recruiting needs (staff &
members); develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent
management.
3) Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements
policies, processes, training, initiatives, and evaluates KPIs on regular
intervals to support the organisation's human resource compliance and strategy
needs.
4) Administers human resource programs including, but not
limited to, recruitment, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary
matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management;
productivity, rewards & recognition, and morale; occupational health and
safety; and training, coaching and employee development.
5) Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory
changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, employment law &
applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policies, practice &
resources to the senior leadership.
6) Monitors adherence to internal policies and legal
standards by way of preparing & keeping updated a comprehensive Human
Resources policy.
7) Conducts research & analysis of organisational trends
including review of reports & metrics from the HRIS.
8) Develops & implements departmental budget and ensures
cost efficiency in all HR processes.
9) Facilitates professional development, training &
certification activities of employees across grades.
10) Deals with grievances and violations involving
disciplinary action when required.
11) Reports to senior management on regular intervals by
analysing data and using HR metrics.
12) Ensures efficient operation of the Organization which
involves overseeing daily office activities, developing and implementing
administrative systems, and leading administrative staff to achieve optimal
productivity.
