Costing Engineer

 Chennai, Tamil Nadu     4-9 Yrs    ₹2.25 - ₹4.25 Yearly

We are hiring a Costing Engineer for our clients on-roll position in Chennai (Anna Nagar).

Key Responsibilities:

• Study and analyze BOQs and site requirements.
• Source and compare vendor quotations for Control & Instrumentation (C&I) systems minimum three quotes.
• Validate prices with OEMs and negotiate favourable pricing terms.
• Liaise with internal project teams for cost planning and updates.
• Collect and organize package-wise pricing from OEMs into a structured costing database.
• Assist in vendor evaluation and final selection based on price, quality, and delivery schedule.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience:

• 4+ years in project costing or office interior site execution
• Vendor management and strong negotiation skills
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and costing tools

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with C&I systems and vendor ecosystem
• Exposure to AutoCAD, MS Project (added advantage)
• Prior experience in civil or office interior project costing or hands-on site/project engineering in the Indian interior fit-out industry.
