Role & responsibilities

The IT Infrastructure Manager will oversee the hospitals entire IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient systems to support healthcare delivery. This includes managing servers, networks, data centers, cybersecurity, and hardware/software systems in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and manage the hospitals IT infrastructure including LAN, WAN, wireless, servers, and storage systems.

Ensure 24/7 availability and performance of critical hospital systems (EMR/EHR, PACS, LIS, HIS, etc.).

Maintain cybersecurity protocols and compliance with healthcare data protection laws (e.g., HIPAA, NABH).

Lead infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations.

Supervise and support IT technical staff, vendors, and third-party contractors.

Perform regular risk assessments and disaster recovery drills.

Manage IT asset inventory and lifecycle management.

Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to identify and resolve IT-related issues.

Develop documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Strong knowledge of hospital systems and IT compliance standards.

Experience with virtualization, cloud platforms, firewalls, and enterprise networks.

Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, ITIL, or CISSP are desirable.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
