Deputy Manager-DMS

 Kolkata, West Bengal     5-10 Yrs    ₹7.5 - ₹10 Yearly

Role & responsibilities

• Implement ,configure and maintain the DMS(Distributor Management System)
• Collaborate with IT and software vendors to ensure system integrity, updates, and issue resolution.
• Train distributor staff on DMS usage, processes, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and adherence to SOPs.
• Monitor daily data uploads, stock reconciliations, billing, and inventory flows.
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness for real-time business insights.
• Generate sales, stock, and performance reports to support decision-making.
• Provide dashboards and KPIs to regional and national sales managers.
• Conduct regular audits of distributor transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with sales, finance, and supply chain teams to align DMS operations with business goals.
• Serve as the point of contact for DMS-related issues across department
• Manage relationships with DMS software providers and ensure SLAs are met.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong coordination and communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• Strong understanding of DMS systems and related technologies.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Ability to identify and resolve technical issues and problems related to the DMS.
• Ability to manage DMS implementation projects and ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Proficiency with relevant software, such as ERP, CRM, and other business applications.

Should be comfortable for extensive traveling as and when required
