Job description
Role Objective:
The Sales Associate will be responsible for achieving the
overall sales targets and complete collections from their territory and include
new customer acquisition and managing the existing clients. A true
techno-commercial individual who is excited to take up new challenges. The
incumbent will be expected to be the rainmaker for Bulk MRO.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition and Management:
- Increasing
sales through new client acquisition of new clients and managing existing
accounts within the assigned territory.
- Meet
personal and company sales targets on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly
basis.
- Onboard
and nurture enterprise customers, converting them into key accounts.
- Engage
with top management and CXOs of customers for deal closure.
2. Lead Generation and Revenue Generation:
- Generate
leads through regular calls and meetings.
- Convert
leads into orders to drive revenue for the company.
3. Reporting and Communication:
- Keep
management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as
daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly plans.
- Provide
timely updates on market developments and competitor activities to the
reporting manager and product marketing team.
4. Customer Support and Relationship Management:
- Coordinate
closely with support functions to provide pre- and post-sales support,
ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Resolve
after-sales support and warranty issues in collaboration with Branch
Technical.
5. Financial Management:
- Ensure
timely collection of outstanding receivables.
- Assist
in resolving reconciliation issues periodically.
6. Cross-functional Coordination and Marketing Support:
- Manage
cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to service level agreements
(SLAs).
- Support
and lead various marketing activities as required.
7. 7. Support to Purchase Team:
- Assist
the purchase team by ensuring customer enquiries are replied to promptly.
- Prepare
and share RFQs (Request for Quotations) in a timely and accurate manner.
8. Meeting and Training Attendance:
- Attend
meetings, training sessions, and other events as required.
9. Adherence to Reporting Standards:
- Maintain
adherence to both online and offline reporting formats and timelines
Additional Skill
Candidates with experience in Industrial Sales,
MRO/Consumable products will be highly preferred.
Must enjoy sales hunting, new client acquisition and
driving sales targets.
It is mandatory to have basic commercial and technical
knowledge
Go-getter with ability to sell daily/weekly/monthly (With
outstanding Payments collections)
Good written oral communication skills in English local
language
