- Proficiency in Piping Design Codes (ASME B31.3, B31.12, ASTM, API, BS,
MSS-SP, NACE).
- Perform engineering calculations: wall thickness, hydrotest, branch
reinforcement, bolt lengths, etc.
- Develop piping material specifications for CS, SS, DSS, alloys, and
non-metallic materials.
- Prepare valve datasheets, piping specifications, and manage MRs, TBEs, PRs,
and VDRs.
- Conduct piping stress analysis using Caesar II; knowledge of AutoPIPE or Rohr
II is a plus.
- Analyze thermal, sustained, and occasional cases (wind, seismic, relief).
- Conduct slug force, PSV force, trunnion, and flange leakage calculations.
- Review 3D models for optimal routing and supports.
- Collaborate effectively with disciplines, vendors, and clients.
- Experience with tools like ERM, SPMAT, SPRD, and Aconex is an advantage.
