Roles and Responsibilities
Managing different parts of projects, supervising crew members, preparing estimates for time and material costs,
completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards
Reviews and approves quality‑related procedures prepared on the project to ensure compliance with the project quality program/plan
Trains personnel assigned to the project on Quality related aspects as required
Recommends and evaluates the effectiveness of corrective actions and process improvement activities to project personnel to correct observed quality deficiencies
May maintain client liaison and communication for project quality related activities
May represent the project during quality assurance audits conducted by the client, management, or regulatory agencies
Identifies quality problems, initiates documented action and verifies implementation of solutions
Initiates and/or coordinates stop-work action, when warranted
Technical background in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and functions which impact the quality program/plan
Proficiency in providing direction and on the job training to assigned personnel
