Structural Engineer

M.E (Structural Engineering)

Key Requirements

• Experience in designing residential and commercial structures
• Experience in structural analysis and design of RC structure
• Advanced knowledge of building codes and application to design situations.
• Knowledge of commonly used computer software. (Microsoft Office).
• Knowledge of structural and engineering applications (STAAD).
• A team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical skills
• Perform conceptual, preliminary and detailed final design calculations of residential and commercial buildings.
• In-depth knowledge of structural design standards and codes (Indian, Euro and American Codes)
• Proficient in the use of computer software for the analysis and design of ordinary and/or complex structures (STAAD PRO/ ETABS).
• Ability to do structural design having economical feasibility in mind
• Exhibits excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Qualifications
• Familiarity in analysis, design, and evaluation residential RC structures
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Must be able to work in a team environment, effectively lead tasks, work independently and be self-motivated.
• Interaction with client / consultant for getting approval for design deliverables.
• Software skill set: STAAD PRO/ ETABS, Office tools
