Software Engineer II (Backend)

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Write well-tested, maintainable code with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and implement solutions.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging complex issues across multiple systems.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure the best practices are being followed.
• Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Continuously learn and stay up to date with new technologies and best practices.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and product enhancements.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming, including experience with frameworks
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and ORM frameworks.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with testing frameworks (unit testing, integration testing).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
